The Club held its annual President’s BBQ, with 80 Club members turning out in 40 Corvettes for a road rally, followed by an outdoor BBQ event. Chocolate Corvette awards were presented to recognize members who have contributed to the success of the Club, as well as taking part in the most events held this year.

Club Members enjoyed a beautiful night at Chippawa Lions Park, with 25 Corvettes turning out for the last Drifters Niagara event of the season.
August 30th
Club Members enjoyed a lunch at Betty’s Restaurant in Chippawa on Aug 30th, followed by a cruise of 17 Corvettes down the Niagara Parkway.
Tours of the Fort Erie Railway Museum and the Fort Erie LaFrance Association museum of fire trucks were enjoyed by all. An ice cream stop at You Deserve It on Garrison Rd completed the day.
August 23rd
NCC Members enjoyed an outing to tour the Point Abino lighthouse on Aug 23rd, followed by an outdoor patio lunch at the Bertie Boating Club.
The 3 tour buses carried our 41 members in comfort for the historical guided tour.
August 8th
We started with a history lesson with words provided by our own Craig Gemmel at the Welland Feeder Canal Junction Lock at the Dog Park just off Prince Charles Drive. Then on to The Marshville Chocolate Shop which was a BIG hit with almost everyone taking home a chocolate Corvette and other chocolate goodies.
Continuing down the 200 year old Feeder Canal route we stopped at the Stromness Feeder Canal Lock. The Stromness Feeder Canal, part of the larger Welland Canal, included locks that were crucial for navigating the elevation changes between Lake Erie and the Grand River. The Feeder Canal extended from Welland to Port Maitland, and the locks along this route allowed boats to traverse the canal and connect to the Grand River.
And then it was off to lunch following Niece Road on to North Shore Drive and then Lakeshore Road. A delicious lunch was served at The Garden Houzz and as we had all pre-ordered the food was delivered quickly.
Thanks to our air-conditioned Corvette’s the drive was great although it was a bit warm under the umbrella’s on the patio.
August 3rd
July 27th
Club Members joined up with the CWO on July 27th for a scenic drive out to Canborough, followed by an ice cream run back to Port Maitland.
July 6th
The Club turned out 40 Corvettes for the Niagara College car show in Welland.
The Corvette Generations Display was once again a big hit.
Over 70 Members came out to the July 8 meeting at Club Capri in Thorold.
An exciting car rally brought 40 Club members out on June 21 for a great drive in the country, followed by an outdoor BBQ at Club Capri.
Sandy and Irene Greenberg captured the rally trophy with the highest score for the event.
On Mon June 23, 2025, some members of the NCC attend our annual Ron Fellows driving experience at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
We have 18 driver spots for this event and always sell out.
This is hands down one of the most exciting events we do all year.
In all the years we have done this only one had rain. We didn’t have to worry about rain this time, just the extreme heat. It sure was a hot day and thankfully the cars have AC.
After some in class session with Ron Fellows himself, attendees got a chance to race the Corvette C8 Z06, Cadillac Blackwing and Corvette E-Ray. This was the first year there was not a Camaro.
At the end of track time, we were given hot laps by the instructors which let you see just what these car’s were really capable of. It also humbled you that you are not nearly as good as driver as you thought. They sure make it look easy and the skill they have is unbelievable.
The day was finished off with a very nice catered dinner in the Grand Prix Event Center.
A big thank you to the Fellow’s family Ron, Linda, and Patrick for a great day! Also, a big thank you to their drivers and staff for all they do.
18 Club members turned out for a tour of the Niagara College Tech Centre, and Corvette presentations by Joe Salonia and Tom Spence. Members enjoyed a lunch afterwards at the Blue Star Restaurant.
The Club brought out 14 Corvettes to the Short Hills Retirement Villa on June 14th for a community car show. Members enjoyed the free BBQ in the shade under the trees.
33 Club Members turned out on June 15th for a private tour of the Brown Homestead in St. Catharines, followed by a short drive through Effingham to the Sons and Daughters Winery for Pizza and refreshments.
Club members were joined by some members of the CWO for a fun and exciting track day at Grand Bend on June 10th. A few minutes of light rain did not slow down the participants, and the Track Marshalls kept everyone safe. A dinner was enjoyed by many at Chuck’s Roadhouse in Grand Bend.
A few NCC members made the trip to London on Saturday to spend the night at the Four Points Sheridan, have a great dinner at the Keg and attend the Crown Vette’s show hosted by Corvettes of Western Ontario.
VP Bob Sagon-King planned an excellent cross country scenic route so no QEW or 400 series highways were involved.
The show was well organized, getting us all off the street and parked quickly. There was lots of great food, a great bar, music, 50/50, silent auction, awards and it was all wrapped up and we were on our way before 2 pm.
Although it wasn’t hot, it was sunny and very little wind, so a perfect day to kick off the Corvette show season.
Many thanks to Wendy and Jake Bas for hosting another enjoyable Pot Luck and Games Night at their home on May 10th.
NCC members turned out in large numbers to welcome the Western New York Corvette Club on May 4th for a 90 minute cruise from Fort Erie to the Hamilton Heritage Museum for guided tours and a fabulous lunch in the airplane hangars.
There was another large member turnout for the Cullen Tech Talk, with two members of the Service Department answering questions and providing insights into Corvette features and issues.
Despite the less than ideal weather, we had a large turnout for the first cruise of the season. After braving the cold winds and a few raindrops in the meeting parking lot, we managed to navigate over 30 Corvettes across the Niagara Region.
Everyone arrived at the Blackburn Brewhouse for a couple of hours of socializing and lunch and beverages.
20 Club members enjoyed a St Paddys Day dinner and concert at Club LaSalle in St. Catharines on March 15th. Great music from the band inspired many to get out on the dance floor.
On February 7th, 24 Club Members enjoyed a dinner outing at the Barrel Restaurant in Fort Erie, followed by a concert by the Epic Eagles.
