SUMMARY:Paris Butter Tart Festival And Fall Colours Cruise and a Meal with the CWO
DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is only for members of the Niagara Corvette Club \nWe will drive to the Paris Fairgrounds on the morning of Oct 19th to meet up with the Corvettes of Western Ontario Club by 11 am. We will park in a combined Corvette display\, and then enjoy an hour or two at the Paris ButterTart Festival. \nOur Clubs will then depart for a Fall Colours driving tour in the Paris area\, followed by a meal (late lunch/early dinner). The drive home should be before dark. \nDeparture from the Niagara area will likely be around 9:30 am from the Vineland area\, with rendezvous spots in Brantford or Paris for out of town members. \nThe cost is likely $10 per car\, plus members are responsible for their own meals. \nRegistration cut off is Sunday\, September 21st at 10pm.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to join us for our 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat\, taking place on Saturday\, October 25\, 2025\, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Niagara Children’s Centre. \nThis much-loved event is open to families receiving support from our Centre and typically welcomes around 400 familieseach year. During the morning\, children will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat by visiting dozens of creatively decorated vehicles stationed throughout our parking lot. The experience is made even more inclusive by offering both edible and non-edible treats\, ensuring that every child can participate in a way that suits their needs. \nWe would love for your club to join us in creating a fun and accessible Halloween experience! \nParticipant Details: \n\nArrival Time: Please arrive anytime from 8:15 AM on\, and be fully set up by 9:15 AM\nWhat to Bring:\n\nA vehicle\nDecorations for your trunk (theme of your choice-examples below)\nBoth edible and non-edible treats to distribute\nCostumes are strongly encouraged\n\n\n\nThis event holds a special place in the hearts of many of our families. Traditional trick-or-treating can be challenging for children who use mobility devices\, cannot navigate stairs\, or are tube-fed and unable to enjoy typical Halloween candy. Trunk-or-Treat provides a safe\, accessible alternative that allows every child to experience the magic of Halloween. \nIt’s truly rewarding to see the joy and excitement on the faces of the children and families we support. SUMMARY:Club Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Club meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise specified) at 7:30 pm at the Niagara College Welland Campus. The Campus is located at 100 Niagara College Boulevard and is accessible from Woodlawn Road\, First Avenue\, and Rice Road. Enter by the Main Entrance\, the Campus Entrance (follow the North Road)\, the West Entrance\, or the Chippawayan Blvd Entrance\, only westbound from Woodlawn Road. Easy access is from Hwy 406 from the north or south across Woodlawn Road\, or from Niagara Street or South Pelham Road\, south of Regional Road 20. \nMeetings will be held in Lecture Room S135\, adjacent to the Cafeteria and the Commons Entrance (please refer to the maps and photos included below). This also includes free parking after 5 pm in Lot C2 and C3\, which is safeguarded by Security Personnel and cameras. For reference\, these lots are to the Northeast of Lot D\, where the Niagara College Car Show was held last year. \nThe parking lot C3 is just a short walk to the Commons Entrance that leads into the Food Court/Cafeteria\, and there is a circular driveway/drop off area on the North Road beside the doors\, as shown below: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nAs in the photo below\, the Commons Entrance leads into a large seating area right next to the Food Court\, which features Tim Hortons\, Subway\, Pizza Pizza and others. Hours may vary and be shortened in the summer months. \nWe recommend that you arrive at the Campus and park in Lot C3 at 6 pm or thereafter\, as that will allow you plenty of time to get a coffee\, or a drink\, or a snack in the Food Court\, and then sit down and socialize with other Club Members in the generous seating area of the Cafeteria. \n \nFor those members looking for a more formal place to eat before arriving at Niagara College\, we suggest trying Boston Pizza or M.T. Bellies on Niagara Street near Quaker Road\, or Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill at 647 Niagara Street\, just south of Woodlawn Road. \nAs in the photo above\, the short hallway directly beside the Wellness Lounge (this is just a few steps from the Commons Entrance\, across from the computer screen shown below) leads down to Lecture Room S135\, with washrooms located at the opposite end of the hall. \nDirectly inside the first door of Room S135 will be our usual layout of name badges\, club information\, and tickets. The room itself has tremendous acoustics\, and also features a multimedia display screen and audio system.  There is a generous amount of seating in an ampitheatre format. The room is reserved for our use\, and requires no set up or teardown. Food and drinks are permitted; we just ask that you clean up any items that you bring in. \nThe meeting will start at 7:30 pm\, so please make your way from the Food Court before that time. \n \n

DESCRIPTION:Now that we are almost through the winter and see spring on the horizon\, let’s share the anticipation of one day getting back in our Corvettes. We will be having our first club social get together for 2026 on March 21st. \nWe will begin the day by meeting for breakfast at the Grill on Canboro\, in the Town of Fenwick\, on 794 Canboro Road at 9:30 am. This will be a “Pay your own way” meal. \nAfter breakfast\, we will be making our way to our tour of the Greater Niagara Railroad Engineers open house. This is a large HO scale model railroad train exhibit located at 1141 Maple Street in Fenwick. We will be given preferred admission at 11 am\, one hour before their scheduled start time. \nMembers who do not wish to have breakfast first can meet our group directly at the Open House at 11 am. \nhttp://www.gnmre.ca/ \nParking is available in the town’s public parking lot on Maple Street\, or on Canboro Road. Once you park\, it’s just a short walk away from the Grill and directly next to the Railroad building. \nThe GNMRE request a small cash donation or a canned goods donation in support of their efforts. SUMMARY:Crown Vettes Car Show
DESCRIPTION: The Corvettes of Western Ontario will be hosting their 9th annual Crown Vettes Show on Sunday MAY 24th\, 2026 at the Lambeth Legion grounds\, 7097 Kilbourne Rd\, London\, Ontario from 10 am to 2:00 pm. The Lambeth Legion offers both pavement and a tree lined lawn for the parking of your Vette. The Legion is located just minutes north of Hwy’s 401 and 402…straight north on Colonel Talbot Road to Kilbourne Rd.  \nThe Legion building will be open to our attendees\, offering indoor washrooms\, air conditioning\, and shelter from the heat and/or rain (heaven forbid). The Legion Ladies will be firing up their BBQ at 11:00 am\, and will be selling hamburgers\, hot dogs\, and fries until show close. The Legion bar will open at noon. Proceeds from food and bar sales go directly to the Legion. There is also a large outdoor covered patio from which you can view the sea of Corvettes parked just beyond.  \nWe will have door prizes\, a silent auction (cash or e-transfers only)\, and a 50/50 draw…with proceeds supporting War Amps and the London Children’s Health Foundation. Our show will go\, rain or shine – no rain date will be assigned. If it rains\, the cars get wet\, but the people stay dry thanks to the air-conditioned hall and covered patio.  \nStaying overnight? DESCRIPTION:Annual get together with the Western New York Corvette club. \nAs in years past\, we are planning to get together with the Western New York Corvette Club. They are looking forward to hosting us this year on a cruise to Letchworth State Park. \nCruise date will be Sunday June 7th\, 2026. \nFull details to be provided later\, but their plan is for us to meet up with them at the Flying J Truck stop on I-90 (Pembroke exit) for 9:30 am. (We can set up a meeting point to head to that location later). DESCRIPTION:As in years past we are once again looking at doing the Ron Fellows Driving Experience for 2026. The tentative date is Monday June 15 2026.\n\nFor those that have attended before you know what a great time this is. For those that haven’t been or heard of this event here is a quick breakdown.\n\nThis is a 1-day event held at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville. You will have the opportunity to drive the Corvette Z06\, Corvette Eray and Cadillac Blackwing CT5V and CT4V.\n\nWhen the driving portion is done\, if you feel up to it you can do a hot-lap ride with the pro drivers. The day is then ended with a very nice catered dinner and open bar. DESCRIPTION:We are in the planning stages for a road trip to the Atlantic Nationals Car Show. \nhttps://atlanticnationals.com/ \nThere will be many options available for travel routes to the show\, and hotels/motels in Moncton. Many of our Club Members may choose to extend their trip with further destinations in the Atlantic Provinces\, or plan their own route home. \nOne possible plan is to take 2 days and 1 night to reach Moncton\, stay 3 nights in Moncton with 2 to 3 days at the car show\, or visiting other sightseeing attractions\, and then depart on July 19th per member’s personal travel preferences. \nThe Niagara Corvette Club will reserve blocks of rooms at motels/hotels in Quebec and New Brunswick\, based on the number of Members who indicate their intention to take part in this trip. \nRSVPs are requested by March 6th to allow us to book sufficient rooms. \nMembers may purchase their car show entrance tickets online after our trip numbers and motel bookings are confirmed. \nPlease use the Niagara Corvette Club RSVP link below to sign up for this event.
