SUMMARY:Club Meeting & BBQ
DESCRIPTION:The July meeting will be held at Club Capri at 36 Cleveland St in Thorold on Tuesday July 8th. This is the same location as the June 21st Rally and BBQ event. There is easy access from Hwy 406 and Hwy 58 at Pine St. \nThe meeting will feature a private outdoor BBQ Dinner with a variety of chicken and ribs\, potato\, vegetables and soft drinks. A cash bar will be available. \nWe are subsidizing part of the cost of the meal as a thank you to everyone for your support and assistance with our upcoming July 13th Show and Shine Car Show. We will also cover the gratuities for the Club Capri staff for the meal. However\, cash tips at the bar will be appreciated. \nThe cost of the meal per member is $20.00. Please use the RSVP link to sign up for the meal\, and then send an eTransfer to treasurer@niagaracorvetteclub.com for the total cost of the meal(s) for you and your Affiliate Member. The cut-off date for registration will be July 4th. \nCash or cheque payments can also be made at the upcoming June events. DESCRIPTION:Club meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise specified) at 7:30 pm at the Niagara College Welland Campus. The Campus is located at 100 Niagara College Boulevard and is accessible from Woodlawn Road\, First Avenue\, and Rice Road. Enter by the Main Entrance\, the Campus Entrance (follow the North Road)\, the West Entrance\, or the Chippawayan Blvd Entrance\, only westbound from Woodlawn Road. Easy access is from Hwy 406 from the north or south across Woodlawn Road\, or from Niagara Street or South Pelham Road\, south of Regional Road 20. \nMeetings will be held in Lecture Room S135\, adjacent to the Cafeteria and the Commons Entrance (please refer to the maps and photos included below). This also includes free parking after 5 pm in Lot C2 and C3\, which is safeguarded by Security Personnel and cameras. For reference\, these lots are to the Northeast of Lot D\, where the Niagara College Car Show was held last year. \nThe parking lot C3 is just a short walk to the Commons Entrance that leads into the Food Court/Cafeteria\, and there is a circular driveway/drop off area on the North Road beside the doors\, as shown below: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nAs in the photo below\, the Commons Entrance leads into a large seating area right next to the Food Court\, which features Tim Hortons\, Subway\, Pizza Pizza and others. Hours may vary and be shortened in the summer months. \nWe recommend that you arrive at the Campus and park in Lot C3 at 6 pm or thereafter\, as that will allow you plenty of time to get a coffee\, or a drink\, or a snack in the Food Court\, and then sit down and socialize with other Club Members in the generous seating area of the Cafeteria. \n \nFor those members looking for a more formal place to eat before arriving at Niagara College\, we suggest trying Boston Pizza or M.T. Bellies on Niagara Street near Quaker Road\, or Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill at 647 Niagara Street\, just south of Woodlawn Road. \nAs in the photo above\, the short hallway directly beside the Wellness Lounge (this is just a few steps from the Commons Entrance\, across from the computer screen shown below) leads down to Lecture Room S135\, with washrooms located at the opposite end of the hall. \nDirectly inside the first door of Room S135 will be our usual layout of name badges\, club information\, and tickets. The room itself has tremendous acoustics\, and also features a multimedia display screen and audio system.  There is a generous amount of seating in an ampitheatre format. The room is reserved for our use\, and requires no set up or teardown. Food and drinks are permitted; we just ask that you clean up any items that you bring in. \nThe meeting will start at 7:30 pm\, so please make your way from the Food Court before that time. \n \n

SUMMARY:Point Abino Lighthouse Tour and Lunch
DESCRIPTION:10 am Morning Bus\n11:15 Mid-Day Bus\n12:30 Afternoon Bus\nLunch 11 am to 2 pm \nWe have arranged a private tour of the Point Abino Lighthouse on Saturday August 23rd\, with lunch at the Bertie Boating Club Restaurant. \nThe Point Abino Lighthouse is on the rocky north shore of Lake Erie in Fort Erie. It was constructed in 1917 by the Department of Marine and Fisheries in response to increased traffic at the east end of Lake Erie\, located between the high and low water marks on the rocky shoreline of Point Abino. \nPatrons are requested to dress appropriately for the site and weather conditions. Access to the site requires traversing uneven\, sloped\, and wet surfaces\, including stairs. Patrons are required to stay with the tours; adjacent properties are private and are off limits to patrons. \nThere are 3 bus tours available\, with a maximum of 15 Members per bus. \nThe first bus (Morning) will leave the parking lot at 10:00 am and return at 11:15 am. Members should arrive at least 15 minutes early. This group can then enjoy lunch at the restaurant upon their return. \nThe second bus (Mid-Day) will leave the parking lot at 11:15 am and return at 12:30 pm. \nMembers should arrive at least 15 minutes early. This group can enjoy their lunch upon their return. \nThe third bus (Afternoon) will leave the parking lot at 12:30 pm and return at 1:45 pm. This group should arrive at the restaurant at 11 am to enjoy their lunch before the tour. \nThe groups will therefore have shared time together in the restaurant. \nThe cost of this tour is being sponsored by Paul Toth\, one of our newer members. DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the guys doing brake torques for the kids as they left the park.\n“The Fabulous Fenwick Lions Classic Car Show and Draw” is now called… \n“Rumble in the Village Car Show”\n\n\nThe Car Show will go Rain or Shine. \nDriver discretion is advised for weather concerns.\nThe gate will open at 8 am\nTime: 9 am – 4 pm Gates open 8 am \nPlace: Centennial Park\, 999 Church St. Fenwick \n$10 per car \nThis Car Show has become a staple in the community\, attracting over 300 participants and drawing crowds of a couple of thousand enthusiasts. This year\, they’re adding even more excitement with the addition of a Swap Meet\, making the event bigger and better than ever before. \nParking is spread across the various grass areas of the park. Our plan for the Club is to meet at the Log Cabin (155 Hwy 20 W\, Fonthill) on Hwy 20 in Fonthill at 9 am\, and drive from there down Canborough Road to Church Street in Fenwick. DESCRIPTION:Club meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise specified) at 7:30 pm at the Niagara College Welland Campus. The Campus is located at 100 Niagara College Boulevard and is accessible from Woodlawn Road\, First Avenue\, and Rice Road. Enter by the Main Entrance\, the Campus Entrance (follow the North Road)\, the West Entrance\, or the Chippawayan Blvd Entrance\, only westbound from Woodlawn Road. Easy access is from Hwy 406 from the north or south across Woodlawn Road\, or from Niagara Street or South Pelham Road\, south of Regional Road 20. \nMeetings will be held in Lecture Room S135\, adjacent to the Cafeteria and the Commons Entrance (please refer to the maps and photos included below). This also includes free parking after 5 pm in Lot C2 and C3\, which is safeguarded by Security Personnel and cameras. For reference\, these lots are to the Northeast of Lot D\, where the Niagara College Car Show was held last year. \nThe parking lot C3 is just a short walk to the Commons Entrance that leads into the Food Court/Cafeteria\, and there is a circular driveway/drop off area on the North Road beside the doors\, as shown below: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nAs in the photo below\, the Commons Entrance leads into a large seating area right next to the Food Court\, which features Tim Hortons\, Subway\, Pizza Pizza and others. Hours may vary and be shortened in the summer months. \nWe recommend that you arrive at the Campus and park in Lot C3 at 6 pm or thereafter\, as that will allow you plenty of time to get a coffee\, or a drink\, or a snack in the Food Court\, and then sit down and socialize with other Club Members in the generous seating area of the Cafeteria. \n \nFor those members looking for a more formal place to eat before arriving at Niagara College\, we suggest trying Boston Pizza or M.T. Bellies on Niagara Street near Quaker Road\, or Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill at 647 Niagara Street\, just south of Woodlawn Road. \nAs in the photo above\, the short hallway directly beside the Wellness Lounge (this is just a few steps from the Commons Entrance\, across from the computer screen shown below) leads down to Lecture Room S135\, with washrooms located at the opposite end of the hall. \nDirectly inside the first door of Room S135 will be our usual layout of name badges\, club information\, and tickets. The room itself has tremendous acoustics\, and also features a multimedia display screen and audio system.  There is a generous amount of seating in an ampitheatre format. The room is reserved for our use\, and requires no set up or teardown. Food and drinks are permitted; we just ask that you clean up any items that you bring in. \nThe meeting will start at 7:30 pm\, so please make your way from the Food Court before that time. \n \n

SUMMARY:2026 Club Corvette Calendar Promotion and Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:We’d like to offer our Members a custom Corvette Calendar using high quality photos of 12 Corvettes owned within our Club. \nThe standard 12 month calendar would feature 12 months of Club Corvettes\, printed on premium glossy 11 x 17 inch cardstock\, coil bound at the top\, with a drilled hole at the top for hanging. The cost per calendar\, sample shown below\, is $25 total. \nFor those members who would like to feature 2 supplied photos of their own Corvette in 2 selected months in the calendar\, this option would be available for a $10 premium. \nAll proceeds above cost will be donated to the Niagara Children’s Centre. \nPlease use the links below to provide your name\, email address\, and the number of calendars that you would be prepared to order. There are 2 order options available below at different price points.  The calendars would be available in November. \nWe will use this information to determine if we can undertake this promotion. DESCRIPTION:Dundurn National Historic Site\n\n610 York Blvd\, Hamilton ON \n\nThe available dates are Saturday October 18th or Sunday Oct 26th\, maximum of 30 people per day. \n\nThe tours are approximately 1 hour in length\, starting around 10 am.\nWe require a minimum size group of 15 people\, and the cost is $11 per member.\nParking is free onsite.\n\n\n\n\n\nA back roads cruise route from Niagara will be selected. Members can choose to meet the group at the site. Vehicles other than Corvettes are welcome in the event of inclement weather. SUMMARY:Paris Butter Tart Festival And Fall Colours Cruise and a Meal with the CWO
DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is only for members of the Niagara Corvette Club \nWe will drive to the Paris Fairgrounds on the morning of Oct 19th to meet up with the Corvettes of Western Ontario Club by 11 am. We will park in a combined Corvette display\, and then enjoy an hour or two at the Paris ButterTart Festival. \nOur Clubs will then depart for a Fall Colours driving tour in the Paris area\, followed by a meal (late lunch/early dinner). The drive home should be before dark. \nDeparture from the Niagara area will likely be around 9:30 am from the Vineland area\, with rendezvous spots in Brantford or Paris for out of town members. \nThe cost is likely $10 per car\, plus members are responsible for their own meals. \nRegistration cut off is Sunday\, September 21st at 10pm.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to join us for our 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat\, taking place on Saturday\, October 25\, 2025\, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Niagara Children’s Centre. \nThis much-loved event is open to families receiving support from our Centre and typically welcomes around 400 familieseach year. During the morning\, children will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat by visiting dozens of creatively decorated vehicles stationed throughout our parking lot. The experience is made even more inclusive by offering both edible and non-edible treats\, ensuring that every child can participate in a way that suits their needs. \nWe would love for your club to join us in creating a fun and accessible Halloween experience! \nParticipant Details: \n\nArrival Time: Please arrive anytime from 8:15 AM on\, and be fully set up by 9:15 AM\nWhat to Bring:\n\nA vehicle\nDecorations for your trunk (theme of your choice-examples below)\nBoth edible and non-edible treats to distribute\nCostumes are strongly encouraged\n\n\n\nThis event holds a special place in the hearts of many of our families. Traditional trick-or-treating can be challenging for children who use mobility devices\, cannot navigate stairs\, or are tube-fed and unable to enjoy typical Halloween candy. Trunk-or-Treat provides a safe\, accessible alternative that allows every child to experience the magic of Halloween. \nIt’s truly rewarding to see the joy and excitement on the faces of the children and families we support. Your participation would help us continue our mission of enabling children and youth with physical\, developmental\, and communicative delays or disabilities to achieve their optimal potential at home\, at school\, and in the community.
