SUMMARY:2027 Club Corvette Calendar Promotion and Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Our 2026 Calendar Promotion sold over 80 Calendars\, and raised significant funds for the Niagara Children’s Centre. \nThe 2027 calendar offering will continue to use high quality photos of 12 Corvettes owned within our Club\, including a Corvette Generations 8 month section. \nWe have revised and enlarged the format to a premium glossy 12 x 18 inch cardstock\, coil bound at the top\, with a drilled hole at the top for hanging. We have added Prior and Next Month images in the bottom panel. The cost per calendar\, sample shown below\, is $25 total\, same price as last year. \nFor those members who would like to feature 2 supplied photos of their own Corvette in 2 selected months in the calendar\, this option would be available for a $10 premium\, at $35 per calendar\, same price as last year. \nWe are planning on scheduling photo shoot days for our Members\, showcasing our Corvettes against some of Niagara’s most beautiful settings. \nThis is your opportunity to have high quality photographs taken of your Corvette for free\, which you can then select to place in the Niagara Corvette Club Calendar. \nAll proceeds above cost will be donated to the Niagara Children’s Centre. \nPlease use the link below to provide your name\, email address\, and the number of calendars that you would like to order. The calendars would be available in late October or November. \nYou will be contacted regarding payment. \nPlease act quickly as we need to collect and organize all the orders and photos for this printing.

SUMMARY:October Club Meeting: Executive Nominations and Dinner Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The October meeting will be a dinner event and will be held at Club Capri at 36 Cleveland St in Thorold on Tuesday October 6th. This is the same location as the August Classic Corvette Showcase car show. There is easy access from Hwy 406 and Hwy 58 at Pine St. \nThe meeting will feature a private buffet style dinner with a variety of pizza choices (vegetarian and gluten free available)\, chicken wings\, salad\, tea and coffee\, and dessert. A cash bar will be available. The event will start at 6 pm with food service from 6:15 to 7:30. \nThe Niagara Corvette Club is subsidizing part of the cost of the meal (taxes and facility services and gratuity) as a thank you to everyone for your support and assistance with our Car Show. \nThe cost of the meal per member is $25.00. We require a firm head count ASAP to set up the dining space and determine the size of the food order. Please use the RSVP link to sign up for the meal\, and then send an eTransfer to treasurer@niagaracorvetteclub.com for the total cost of the meal(s) for you and your Affiliate Member. The cut-off date for registration will be October 3rd. \nThis subsidized event is not eligible for Alternate Members to attend. \nThe regular meeting (although a little shorter) will begin at 7:30 pm. \nThe main item on the Meeting Agenda will be the Nominations for the November Elections for the 2027/2028 NCC Executive. \nNominations for NCC Executive positions shall be held bi-annually on even numbered years at the October general meeting of the NCC Membership. \nNominations and voting for NCC Executive positions shall be restricted to Members.  All nominations must be seconded by another Member and accepted by the nominee. \nNominations and voting procedures shall be administered by a Member selected by the NCC Executive to serve as the election scrutineer. \nAcceptance of nominations shall be based upon a simple majority vote of Members attending the October general meeting of the NCC Membership as determined by the NCC Executive. \nFurther nominations for the Executive positions can be submitted prior to or at the November general meeting of the NCC Membership. \nIf you are not able to join us for the dinner at 6 pm\, you are more than welcome to arrive for the 7:30 meeting.
