DESCRIPTION:2025 is a momentous year as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the BC Corvette Club. To recognize this incredible milestone\, we are planning a spectacular multi-day event to take place August 21-24\, 2025 in Kelowna\, BC . \nThis signature event will showcase the legacy and spirit of the Corvette community\, featuring a lineup of activities that will bring our members and Corvette lovers together like never before.​​ \n\n​​Registration in our event included the following: \n\n\nDriving Adventure: No car event would be complete without a driving event! We are planning a Poker Run in the area surrounding Kelowna. A fun way to explore the Okanagan Valley. \n\n\nWelcome Reception: Begin the festivities with a warm and inviting reception\, offering the perfect opportunity to mingle\, forge new friendships\, and connect with fellow Corvette enthusiasts. Savor delectable canapés while taking in the breathtaking ambiance of the Grand Terrace. \n\n\nShow & Shine: Participation in our all Corvette Show & Shine. Corvettes of all generations will be on display for conference attendees and members of the community to admire. We’re bringing Water Street to life with this festival like show & shine featuring over 150 Corvettes. \n\n\nGala Banquet: An elegant banquet featuring an amazing three course dinner\, presentations\, keynote speaker\, live music\, and dancing. \n\n\nOptional Activities: A variety of off-site activities are being planned to make your weekend truly unforgettable. Please note that some of these optional experiences may involve additional costs not covered by your registration fee. SUMMARY:Point Abino Lighthouse Tour and Lunch
DESCRIPTION:10 am Morning Bus\n11:15 Mid-Day Bus\n12:30 Afternoon Bus\nLunch 11 am to 2 pm \nWe have arranged a private tour of the Point Abino Lighthouse on Saturday August 23rd\, with lunch at the Bertie Boating Club Restaurant. \nThe Point Abino Lighthouse is on the rocky north shore of Lake Erie in Fort Erie. It was constructed in 1917 by the Department of Marine and Fisheries in response to increased traffic at the east end of Lake Erie\, located between the high and low water marks on the rocky shoreline of Point Abino. \nPatrons are requested to dress appropriately for the site and weather conditions. Access to the site requires traversing uneven\, sloped\, and wet surfaces\, including stairs. Patrons are required to stay with the tours; adjacent properties are private and are off limits to patrons. \nThere are 3 bus tours available\, with a maximum of 15 Members per bus. \nThe first bus (Morning) will leave the parking lot at 10:00 am and return at 11:15 am. Members should arrive at least 15 minutes early. This group can then enjoy lunch at the restaurant upon their return. \nThe second bus (Mid-Day) will leave the parking lot at 11:15 am and return at 12:30 pm. \nMembers should arrive at least 15 minutes early. This group can enjoy their lunch upon their return. \nThe third bus (Afternoon) will leave the parking lot at 12:30 pm and return at 1:45 pm. This group should arrive at the restaurant at 11 am to enjoy their lunch before the tour. \nThe groups will therefore have shared time together in the restaurant. \nThe cost of this tour is being sponsored by Paul Toth\, one of our newer members. Members will be responsible for the cost of their lunch and beverages at the restaurant. \nPlease use the RSVP link below to register for this event\, by selecting the time of the bus tour that you prefer.
